Why Choose Storywheel?

“We met up with Susan and Michelle from Ackworth Howard school last week and both were absolutely raving about the work you did and the difference it made to the children. They have been busy rewriting schemes of work and trying to implement your ideas across the curriculum and I can honestly say you’ve had some of the best feedback we’ve ever had! You’ve really affected the lives of those teachers and their students.”

“Jacqui is an extremely artful and practiced storyteller – a delight to watch. She is simply remarkable and I can’t recommend her highly enough.”

  • Expertly Crafted Narratives: All stories are carefully curated to suit the age range and needs of the pupils

Emotional Intelligence: Through the accompanying workshops, students are gently guided to explore a range of emotions, understand their significance, and practice managing them effectively. This process helps build emotional resilience and empathy.

  • Safe Space for Expression: Storywheel sessions create a secure environment where students are encouraged to explore thoughts and feelings through the lens of storytelling. This builds resilience, enhances self-confidence, reduces stigma around discussing emotions, and fosters a sense of belonging.

  • Creative Engagement: Storytelling stimulates creativity and critical thinking. As students immerse themselves in the narratives, they learn to think outside the box, problem-solve, and appreciate diverse perspectives.

  • Collaborative Learning: The Storywheel approach encourages teamwork and collaboration among students. In the workshops, they collectively explore meaning, characters' emotions, and solutions, enhancing their personal and social skills.

  • Tailored for Different Groups: Sessions are adapted to different groups, ensuring relevant content and engagement. Jacqueline is always willing to discuss a groups’ individual needs with the school beforehand if appropriate.

  • Help to build lifelong resilience: By developing students’ confidence and emotional intelligence, we empower them to navigate life's challenges with grace and resilience.
